BRANDING & ADVERTISING - JACQUEMUS

This project explores the way the relationship between a fashion brand and the role of "product" shapes the development of the commercial aesthetics and function of the brand in the fashion industry. We had to study the brand, addresses contemporary issues related to branding and come up with a new branding strategy along with an advertisement in order to generate long-term growth for the brand.

Jacquemus has a very strong social media presence and the brand stays true to it's values - i.e embracing yourself and being raw; through it's social media. The brand's instagram profile is like a personal dairy of the designer - Simon Porte Jacquemus. 

How can we add another layer to the already very successful branding and show another aspect of the brand to the audience?

Focusing on one of their famous products -

 Le Chiquita Bag, which is

mainly produced and made in Italy

Tag Lines: 

Single minded proposition 

 for the campaign will be introducing the audience to the authentic Italian "making" process by focusing on the Italian artisans as well as Italian art and food.

Storytelling

In a quaint town of Italy, with skilled hands of numerous artisans; the Le Chiquita bag is made.

The story that we want to show through the campaign/advertisement is the process of creating Jacquemus products while introducing the artisans, the Italian culture and the inspiration behind the brand. Main focus will be on the "make" of the product and showing the behind the scenes of what goes in the life of Jacquemus's real creators - the artisans.

Through this campaign we aim the create awareness about artisanship, give them credit as well as create a brand loyalty among audience by being transparent.
